In reply to Russell. Make sure you’re connected via Bluetooth to the trainer. Virtual shifting isn’t supported over ANT+.

Hi, i have upgraded my jet black volt v2 to latest firmware. Paired the play controllers but no steering.
Do i need to do something else? Upgrade play firmware or something?

In reply to Eric Schlange. Your right. Updated the trainer, started Zwift and Bingo. Well 2nd ride anyway..... Had to read the post below about changing trainer on the log in connection. . Now works great. Thanks Eric n all.

If you are using all your Direto functions via Ant+ you must connect the Resistance function via BT otherwise you spend several hours like me wondering why it can see Zwift Companion and PC BT but not Zwift BT!
My other issue was the battery compartment on the Click allows the battery to float a bit and I had issues with intermittent connections. I solved it by placing a piece of card under the positive side – not ideal but problem solved until I can think of a better way. Normally there is some sort of o ring in other equipment to hold the button battery.

So now my Elite xt will work with my zwift play controlers for digital shifting, without the need for the the Zwift Cog, is that correct?

If it’s virtual shifting why doesn’t it work anyway…. if it needs a firmware update it had the capability just didn’t switch it on until Zwift had brought their controllers and own bike out first….virtual cartell
