Apparently the new API does not ‘send’ the title to XERT. Wish this could be rectified.

To make a long story short, after hours of working with the ai tool, watching videos and asking questions on forum, never got an achievable plan. Not the end of the world but disappointing

I have adjusted the expected power, but will this affect the calculations done by Xert as I haven’t hit the given power numbers !?

Yes, XERT can pull your activity data from Strava – they’ve been able to do that for years. That’s why the big deal with this announcement is the ability to get your XERT workouts into Zwift automagically.

So in the article above, it recommends telling Zwift to send activities to Xert, but seems like it would be better to NOT check this option and have Zwift send to Strava, then Xert poll Strava. This way my Xert workouts could incorporate both my Zwift races/rides, but also my outdoor rides! Pulling from Strava seems much better, yes?

But seems like it will never happen because zwift is only focused on racing and workouts is not so important. Because the trainingplans is never renewd or updated and that is a shame.

I think those articles pre-date this update, as they talk about downloading ZWO files and importing them in zwift via saving them to document folder, this does away with all that

With the default Xert Adaptive Training Advisor (XATA) training programs, you’ll get a workout each day based on your goals, training status, etc. It doesn’t schedule future workouts, since what you do next week Friday will depend on what you do between now and then. This gives you a bit more flexibility in your training & allows you to easily incorporate riding that you enjoy doing – like Zwift group rides or races – and let Xert adapt the training recommendations afterwards!
