Version 1.49, released September 2023, updated XP per mile from 30 to 32 for cyclists. It’s now May 2024, with version 1.65, and it appears XP per mile for runners is still 60 instead of 64 to even things out.

Zwift running doesn’t make any money for the company, so it makes sense why they don’t prioritize running updates. But it would be nice if they made this update. Even if they only advantage is changing my avatar clothes.

It said I unlocked gear during a run, but it is not showing in my garage. Do I need to do something else to claim it?

is this still the case or have they now tweaked it to a more manageable difference for xp between km and miles

Typos:

Should be “Gray” (if U.S.), “Orange”, and “Stripe”.
